How solar lights work
During the day the solar panels absorb the sunlight which produces enough power to charge the battery. The battery stores that energy until it gets dark outside
When the photoresistor detects little or no light it activates the battery and the light switches on. The battery size determines how long the light can stay on
How to replace the battery
1、Remove the battery cover from the circuit box with a screwdriver
2、Remove the battery.
3、Install a new battery.
4、Cover the battery cover
Please remove the battery cover before pulling out the battery tag. Otherwise the battery might get dislodged from the contact points.
Install solar lighting in early morning to ensure maximum charge.
Pick a suitable location with direct sunlight, avoid placing lights under trees or under roof coverings.
How to pick the location for best performance
For optimum performance, it is best to install the solar panel in full sunlight and let it charge for 10-12 hours.
It is best to keep solar lights away from shady areas as lack of sunlight will diminish the amount of charged battery power capacity. This will also cut the amount of time the solar lights stay on.
Keep debris and snow off the solar panel to allow the battery to recharge.
If the solar panel has been covered by snow for a long time, it is best to replace batteries and/or allow the battery to recharge in full, direct sunlight for at least 10-20 hours so it can maintain maximum capacity.
